The following terms and conditions ('T'&C') will apply when purchasing our products online.

PRIVACY POLICY

Violet May Ltd may occasionally send you communications about products and services that it feels may be of interest to you unless you indicate that you are not interested in receiving such offers or information from us.

Violet May Ltd. does not sell, trade or rent user information to others unless you have given us permission. With your permission Violet May Ltd. will only share your information with carefully chosen, reputable and trustworthy third parties.

Violet May Ltd. will not pass on your personal information unless you have given your prior consent. Otherwise, Violet May Ltd. will only share aggregate statistics about sales and traffic patterns with our advertisers, but these statistics will not include any personally identifiable information.

Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

PURCHASES

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. The price of a product displayed on the website at the time the order is completed will be honoured and you will be charged accordingly.

We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.

The contract between you and Violet May Ltd. will be completed when we issue you an acceptance of your offer to purchase. The sale contract is therefore completed in London, England.

We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, Master Card, Delta, and Switch debit cards.

To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the time that your order is accepted by Violet May Ltd. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Violet May Ltd, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw any merchandise from the Site at any time and/or remove, screen or edit any materials or content on the Site. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.

We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of us withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

The purchase of merchandise is limited to parties that lawfully can enter into and form contracts on the Site under English law. To do so, you must provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address, credit card details and other requested information. The Site is available only to individuals and others who meet the terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to Violet May Ltd, whose applications are acceptable to Violet May Ltd and who have authorised Violet May to process a charge or charges on their credit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. By making an offer to buy merchandise, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your credit-card number or credit reports (including credit reports for your spouse if you reside in a community property jurisdiction), to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Included in the cost of freight is freight insurance against each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you.

RETURNS

Your satisfaction is paramount to us. We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item.

If you are not happy with your goods or need to exchange an item for a different colour or configuration you may cancel your order at anytime during the cancellation period by providing to us a notice of cancellation.

The cancellation period commences on the date the contract for the supply of goods is concluded and ends on the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning on the day after you received them.

In the event of cancellation, we require that you return the goods to us at your own cost. In order to help with the return of your order you may obtain a Return Number (RN) by emailing us at returns@violetmaylondon.com within the cancellation period. This will serve as a notice of cancellation. This RN number should be written on your original invoice and on the return shipping label.

Failure to obtain an RN does not affect your statutory rights.

In the event of any failure to return any goods to us which have been validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.

We request that all goods are returned within 14 days of the date of your notice of cancellation and will make refunds to you in accordance with these terms within 30 days of the date of the notice of cancellation.

All accurately returned products will be credited to the original purchasers credit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments excluding shipping charges.

Refunds of international customs duties and sales taxes (if applicable) are excluded on shipments outside the European Community (EU).

GIFT RETURNS

If you have received an item from Violet May Ltd. as a gift you can exchange it for another item of the same value or more provided you pay the cost difference and the additional shipping, taxes, and import duties.

IMPORTANT NOTE

New and unused means that there are no marks on the item or any wear on the tags. We do not sell used items and will not accept any item with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser. Violet May is not responsible for any item that is not returned in the manner set forth above. Please discuss any additional questions you may have with our customer service representative when you contact us for an RN.

GENERAL

You acknowledge that we cannot guarantee and therefore shall not be in any way responsible for the security or privacy of this Site and any information provided to or taken from this Site by you.

You acknowledge and agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Violet May Ltd as a result of the T&C or your use of this Site.

You agree that you may not and will not hold yourself out as a representative, agent, or employee of Violet May Ltd, and we shall not be liable for any representation, act, or omission on your part.

The T&C (as amended from time to time) constitutes the entire agreement between you and Violet May Ltd regarding your use of this Site, and supersedes any other agreement or understanding, arrangements, undertaking or proposal, written or oral, between you and Violet May in relation to such matters. In the event any other rules, code of conduct, or other matter posted on this Site conflicts with the terms of the T&C, the T&C shall govern. No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of the T&C. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the T&C, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a representation in the T&C and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation which has not become a term of the T&C save that your agreement contained in this Clause shall not apply in respect of any fraudulent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the T&C.

The T&C will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
